Electrical assurance
Our qualified engineers and consultants provide services to both landlords and contractors. As well as carrying out independent quality checks for residential properties after works have been undertaken, we can also undertake independent periodic inspections of electrical installations to ensure that your appointed contractor only undertakes the work that is strictly necessary. Of course, as you would expect we are NICEIC registered and all of our staff have the appropriate inspection and testing qualifications.
Our services include:
- Carrying out comprehensive whole building electrical inspections and producing a periodic inspection report in the standard NICEIC format
- Reporting in detail on inspection outcomes
- Producing schedules of required works with associated cost estimates, to facilitate ordering of any remedial works
- Procurement and supervision of electrical repair contractors, including reviewing their completion certificates
- Quality auditing electrical inspection programmes, installations, rewires and repairs
- Delivering comprehensive contractor quality performance reports
- Providing second opinion assessments
Our approach to quality assurance allows us to compare the results of our periodic inspection report to the contractors completion certificates, with any differences identified and scored based on their severity. We then produce a comprehensive report for either each property or for a batch of properties where a programme is being delivered, which acts as a basis for identifying any improvements that are necessary and driving change.
