Pennington Choices has considerable experience in assisting Clients in managing their OJEU procurement.  Our Consultants are up-to-date with the ever-changing requirements pertaining to the various stages of the process, meaning our Clients can be confident of full compliance.

We currently provide Clients with a comprehensive end-to-end process management service, as well as managing specific sections of the overall process where Clients feel they have a skills or knowledge gap.

There are numerous steps in the OJEU procurement process, all of which require knowledge and experience in order to be carried out competently.  Our service covers, but is not exclusive to, the following steps :

  • Set-up Process - to establish the Client's precise requirements in order to produce the most appropriate information for those wishing to tender and the most appropriate OJEU procedure to follow;
  • Post the Contract Notice
  • Preparation of appropriate documentation - depending on the procedure to be followed.
  • Adherence of relevant timetables to ensure full compliance;
  • Management of returned documentation - including any technical and arithmetical evalutions and scoring;
  • Organisation and management of site visits and/or interviews (if applicable);

Client testimonial

"Pennington's role leading the project team has been instrumental in driving the project forward to achieve milestones being met.  Their management and expertise with regards to the OJEU procurement process has been second to none. Our requirements have been met throughout and the outcome of the whole process has been reflected in the quality of tenderers put forward for consideration."

Tenderer testimonial

"Travis Perkins had the pleasure of working with Pennington Choices on the tender for Wrexham County Borough Stores in April 2010, and subsequently on the implementation of the project after successful award.  Both the tender and implementation processes were clear, efficient and successful due to the professionalism and attention to detail shown by Pennington Choices in ensuring that the initial documentation provided a clear brief, was well written and demonstrated a clear understanding of the client's requirements.  The implementation process has been an outstanding success as Pennington Choices took the time to ensure that both they, and their client, fully understood the whole process; and had buy in from all the key stakeholders at WCBC.  We now look forward a long and mutually beneficial partnership with WCBC that has been built on firm foundations, thanks to work of Pennington Choices at the early stages."

Unsuccessful Tenderer Testimonial

"Although we didn't make the final tender stage, I must applaud Pennington for a most informative feedback on all applications, it is pleasing to see that for once somebody puts as much effort into their feedback as they do in the scrutiny of their PQQ's."
