Building Maintenance Management

As part of our Building Maintenance Management Service, we will provide and work with you on:

  • An initial audit to determine your property maintenance and compliance needs specific to your buildings and circumstances.
  • Production of a maintenance plan based on the needs identified in the initial audit, which will then be reviewed together with the agreement of priorities and budgets.
  • Provision of specific advice to the school business manager, head teacher and governing body in relation to any property maintenance compliance issues, with guidance as to the actions required to achieve legal compliance and to manage risk.
  • Sourcing of appropriate maintenance contractors on your behalf either via our established frameworks, conducting tenders or negotiating with your existing suppliers.
  • Use of our bespoke maintenance and compliance management web portal, which will allow contractors and staff to upload activity records, indicate compliance with activity timescales and to facilitate overall reporting.
  • Provision of a monthly report to the head teacher and governing body on the extent of compliance with property health and safety matters.
  • Unlimited email and phone helpdesk advice.
  • Quarterly meetings with one of our RICS Chartered Building Surveyors to review progress against the maintenance plan and provide you with their expert advice and support.
